Online Payments Terms including Refund and Disputes Policies
Please read the following terms of use and disclaimers carefully before using your Benefit Account, debit and/or credit card:
- The present Terms and Conditions and its amendments from time to time shall be governed by the laws of Kingdom of Bahrain and subject exclusively jurisdiction of the Bahrain Courts.
- Any information submitted to Medical.bh and/or the card issuer through this site shall be treated as confidential information except in so far as agreed and accepted in a bank user relationship or as required by law or regulations.
- "Medical firms" mean medical and health related facilities and providers listed on Medical.bh. examples include but no limited to: Hospitals, centers, clinics and vets.
- Medical.bh is only facilitating the process of payments transactions between Medical Firms (hospitals, medical centers, clinics) and owners of Medical Firms and users.
- The nature of payments, reasons and purpose is determined and governed between users and medical firms only.
- Credit / debit cards used through the online payment gateway facility on Medical.bh website or applications must belong to the user.
- By making a payment, you authorize Medical.BH or our third-party payment processer to process your credit/debit card details for the payment amount.
- In order to authorize credit/debit card payments, we may be required to create an account for you with our third-party payment processors, including accepting their standard terms and conditions and submitting your details to them on your behalf. You hereby authorize us to do so and we shall not be liable to you for any damage or loss you may incur as a result.
- We may remove or add cards or other payment methods that we accept at any time without prior notice to you.
- Medcial.bh reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time and from time to time without a prior notice and you must read these Terms of Service at regular intervals to ensure that you are familiar with their content.
- Users using the online payment facility are requested to be available on their respective contact numbers.
- All transactions are being processed after on online payment gateway service provider’s validation process.
- If users face the inconvenience of a missing service items informed by medical firm, both parties (medical firm and user) can agree on a substitute service. Such agreement or communication must be handled between user and medical firm.
- The user is entirely liable for placing an order using the Credit Cards facility after carefully reading all the terms & conditions
When using Benefit or Benefit App or Account, users understand and agree to the following terms:
- The User agrees and declares BENEFIT and the Issuer that the User is using this BENEFIT Payment Gateway at his/her own risk and responsibility.
- The User further agrees that BENEFIT and the card issuer are not responsible or accountable in any way to the User for any loss or damage whatsoever that he/she might incur as a result of using BENEFIT’s Payment Gateway.
- The user shall be fully responsible and accountable for the confidentiality of his/her PIN. No user under any circumstances whatsoever and to whomsoever shall divulge the secrecy of his/her PIN. Under no circumstances shall a user establish connection to BENEFIT’s Payment Gateway service using his/her debit/credit card number and PIN and then let other person(s) carry on with operating the system.
- Not all products and services thereafter are available in all geographic areas. Your eligibility for availing any product or service is subject to BENEFIT’s and/or the card issuer’s discretion and agreement.
- By using BenefitPay App through Medical.bh, you agree to the terms and conditions of both Apps.
- Any information submitted to BENEFIT and/or the card issuer through this site shall be treated as confidential information except in so far as agreed and accepted in a bank user relationship or as required by law or regulations.
Refund Policy
- Successful payments made cannot be cancelled or refunded via Medical.BH. Management and control including cancellation of payments and orders are handled by Medical Firms and not Medical.bh.
- In case of a refund, the user’s refund procedure depends on the chargeback process of user’s bank. The user has to follow on with his/her bank in case any delay in crediting his/her account back with the amount previously paid by him/her. Medical.bh will be sending an email to the user that contains a printout of the refund advice printed from online payment gateway as a reference in case the user wants to revise the bank with.
Disputes Policy
- Any disputes of payments are handled primarily between users and Medical Firms.
- Optionally, Medical.bh may assist in communication between users and other parties to ease the process of resolving disputes if any. Users can contact Medical.bh through a form from within the app.
